This loose parts set is fantastically fun and aimed at getting children to look closely at and create faces. The beautiful wooden box is filled with a wide variety of materials that will inspire young hands and minds  to create imaginary pictures, representations of  family and friends and using the mirror to observe  their own faces, self portraits.    

Inside the box you will find:
fluffy feathers,
soft pompoms,
large wooden buttons,
river stones,
natural wooden sticks,
mixed wooden beads,
marbled beads,
silver nuts,
mixed buttons,
wooden flowers,
glass hearts,
mini pegs,
organza ribbon,

wool yarn,
wooden rings,
jute string,
sunflower seeds,
oval wooden disks,
cotton braid,
glass pebbles,
satin ribbon,
coloured wooden sticks and
metal rings

In addition, the set includes two round wooden disks and a handheld mirror to aid face building. The loose parts are all housed in a square wooden box with a removable divider to help 'sort' the items. Once opened, the inside lid can be used as a portrait making workspace .  

This set s packed full of differently shaped materials and textures which will provide hours of open ended, child led play ,stretch imaginations and develop fine motor skills.
