The Artylingua Art Club provides children aged 5-12 years with the opportunity to get creative, build self -confidence, make friends and develop new skills.  Held on a weekly basis children get to explore all types of art and experiment with different mediums including painting, drawing, crafting and sculpture. For children learning English our classes are an excellent opportunity to practice speaking and improve vocabulary in a practical way. We also host free monthly art and craft sessions on the last Friday of the month which are open to all children in the community-no need to book, just turn up and have fun!

Why art?

Children learn better when they do art.

Art promotes creativity which encourages fine motor skills, brain development and problem solving abilities.

Art develops self-expression, communication, social skills and individuality.

Participating in creative activities reduces anxiety and increases confidence.

Art Club

A two-hour art workshop with different activities every month. Classes are small to ensure that each child gets lots of attention and is enabled to develop and reach their full potential.

We also provide children with the opportunity to participate in international art events and competitions.

Art Outreach

Our aim is to encourage creativity and enable as many children as we can to paint, glue and draw! In addition to providing free art workshops at our centre we also host creative art sessions at schools and other community venues in Algiers.
